• Each team must pay a $40 fee to the umpire at each game, plus $4 per extra inning
• Each team must provide a brand new “Clincher Double Header” softball (green box) to the umpire before the start of the game.
• Runners may not “lead”. Runners may not leave the base until the pitch crosses home plate.

Rain-out information hotline: 212.628.1036

Parks Department is having ongoing problems with the phone lines. Verizon is investigating, but has no fix yet. The malfunction has affected the main line, 212-628-1036, and may prevent you from gaining access to the ball field hotlines. Please tell your teams to call 212-628-1037 or 1038 (followed  by the appropriate hotline extension) instead.

Check for field status at Heckscher Ballfields (ext 332).

                                     at Great Lawn Ballfields (ext 330).

                        at North/East Meadow Ballfields (ext 331).

In case of rainy weather, the Parks Department makes the decision as to whether or not the Ballfields are open. You can call their hotline at 212.628.1036 (see ext above) for current information on the fields.

Broadway Show League policy is that if the fields are closed at 11 am, then all games are cancelled for that day. On days when the weather is questionable, please call the park's hotline number and keep checking the website, we will try to post updated information as soon as we can.
